Names & Heiti

Váli Forseti
Váli (Old Norse: Váli) is the son of Odin and the giantess Rindr. He was conceived and born with a single purpose: to avenge Baldur's death. When only one night old, Váli slew Höðr — the unwitting instrument of Baldur's killing — without washing his hands or combing his hair until the deed was done. He is associated with spring and light, and is among the gods who survive Ragnarök and inherit the new world.
  • Child of Odin Vali er sønn av Odin og jotunkvinnen Rindr
