The Æsir

Baldur's wife — her heart broke with grief when Baldur was slain, and she was burned on the pyre beside him.

Nanna (Old Norse: Nanna) is the wife of Baldur and mother of Forseti. When Baldur was slain and his funeral pyre was lit on the ship Hringhorni, Nanna's heart broke with grief. She was laid beside Baldur on the pyre. Both now dwell in Helheim. When Hermóðr visited Helheim, Nanna sent gifts back with him to the gods — among them a linen garment for Frigg and a golden ring for Fulla.
