Höðr
Höðr (Old Norse: Höðr) is the son of Odin and Frigg, and Baldur's blind brother. He is not evil, but became Loki's instrument in Baldur's killing. During the gods' game — in which everyone hurled things at the invulnerable Baldur — Loki guided the blind Höðr and handed him a dart of mistletoe. Höðr threw it, and Baldur fell dead. Höðr was slain by Váli in retribution, though the true responsibility lay with Loki. Höðr represents undeserved guilt and the blind forces of fate.
